A pin to gently raise suicide awareness, or maybe remind people that this is something close to your heart for… reasons.

The symbol stems out of Project Semicolon, stylized as Project, which is is a US organisation that advocates for mental health wellness with a focus on being an anti-suicide initiative.

The movement’s aim is “presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction and self-injury”.

The semicolon is meant to show a form of solidarity between people dealing with mental illness or the death of someone from suicide.
