Don’t mistake my kindness for weakness – something that needs to be said on occasion.

Sometimes you can’t win it – if you’re kind, so people think they can take advantage, and if you’re assertive, with boundaries, you’re a bitch.

Everything I do stems from kindness. Even when people think I’m being awful, there are usually reasons for it, for example, consistency, safety and the policies of a place I’m working at. At work, we just want everyone to have a great time and stay safe.
