If you’d like to support your mate by booking me to run the merch at their gig, sell t-shirts, albums, CDs – whatever they’d like to sell, this is the right spot!

I’ve got decades of experience, from small club shows and theatre productions to major festivals and arena shows. I can do a casual simplified job (cheaper), or take over every detail of your merch, handing over a speareadsheet with all details the next morning.

Important T&Cs:

• I’ll need 6 weeks notice to make sure I can be available for the requested day. Talk to me first, if it’s less! Email silke @ pocomoto.co.nz.
• Gigs of up to 900 people, otherwise extra staff will need to be arranged at your cost.
• This is for venues in the CBD of Tāmaki Makaurau only. If I can’t reasonably walk or cycle there, you can either pick me up and drop me off, or pay my taxi. Happy to travel anywhere within NZ at your cost.
• This is a voucher towards selling merch at a gig, and depending on your package, it’ll cover either just over 3h or 5h worth of work. Overtime will be billed extra at $35/h. No refunds for spare time left on the voucher.
• I usually do the job myself, but may arrange replacement in case of sickness. If neither is possible I’ll refund you in full.
• I can bring along up to two EFTPOS devices for an extra $30ea + 2.95% merchant fees. This only works for small shows with an expected income under $2k. Above that, you’ll have to hire your own EFTPOS machine. Once I’ve received your invoice, I usually pay within 24h.
• One pay-out per gig – separate pay-outs to individual bands cost $30 per band extra.
• I’ll bring everything to set up the merch area professionally. If you’ve got special requests, please let me know.
• Happy to print price tags if you send them to me at least 2 days in advance.
• I’ll dress appropriately for your specific audience/music.
• This doesn’t automatically include looking after ticketing. Get in touch to discuss if it’s possible for your gig, or if we need to find another pair of hands to help at your cost.
• If you want correct numbers, please book a count in/count out package, or count in and out yourself. I take no responsibility for tallying.
• Cashless preferred, for your and my safety.

How to present your merch:

• Tees and longsleeves in piles of 10 by size/style, hoodies and other thick fabrics in piles of 5 by size/style.
• Don’t fold or roll your t-shirts.
